The idea of collaborative jewelry by 0331c and artist-jeweler Pavel Rizhenkov dates back to 2011, when the duo first took note of the facets of the ubiquitous PO-2 fence.
Two years later, 0331c presented 133 porcelain figures in the shape of a fence at a solo exhibition at the XL Gallery, and Pavel introduced the first series of thematic cufflinks and pendants.
The leitmotif of their latest work was the Cross sculpture, made in summer 2018, when the artist, armed with a generator, sledgehammer, and angle grinder, cut a cross out of a fence slab.
